CalcPhi is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains clearly what information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, how it is used, and what choices you have.

The short version: we do not collect your calculator inputs. All calculations happen in your browser and nothing you type into our calculators is ever sent to our servers.

2.1 Calculator Inputs

We do not collect, store, or transmit any data you enter into our calculators. All calculation logic runs entirely in your browser (client-side JavaScript). Your financial inputs — salary, investment amounts, loan details — never leave your device.

2.2 Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymised data including:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Approximate geographic region (country/city level — not precise location)
• Device type, browser type, and operating system
• Referral source (how you arrived at CalcPhi)

This data is aggregated and does not identify you as an individual. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

2.3 Advertising Data

We display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve advertisements based on your browsing history and interests. This is known as interest-based or personalised advertising.

You can review and control Google's use of your data for advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of interest-based advertising via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out tool.

2.4 Contact Form & Email

If you contact us by email, we collect your email address and the content of your message solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add your email to any mailing list without your explicit consent. Contact emails are stored securely and are not shared with third parties.

3. Cookies

CalcPhi does not set any first-party cookies of its own. Cookies on this site are set exclusively by third-party services we use:

• Google Analytics: for anonymised usage statistics (can be opted out via the link above)
• Google AdSense: for serving and measuring advertisements

You can control or block all cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking some cookies may affect the display of advertisements on the page. It will not affect the functionality of our calculators.

4. Affiliate Links & Disclosure

Some links on CalcPhi — particularly in the "Related Tools" and "Decision Guide" sections of calculator pages — are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and open an account, apply for a product, or make a purchase, CalcPhi may receive a referral commission from the partner at no extra cost to you.

Our editorial content and calculator results are never influenced by affiliate relationships. We only link to products that are genuinely relevant to the calculator a user has just completed. Affiliate links are clearly identified where required by applicable law.

5. Third-Party Links

CalcPhi pages may contain links to third-party websites — banks, mutual fund houses, government portals, and financial product providers. These links are provided for your convenience. Once you click a link and leave CalcPhi, we have no control over and are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.

6. Data Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Contact emails are retained for up to 12 months after your enquiry is resolved, after which they are deleted.

We do not retain any calculator input data because we do not collect it in the first place.

Depending on your country or region, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: the right to request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion: the right to request deletion of your personal data

Note: because we do not collect calculator inputs, there is no financial data of yours that we hold or can provide.

CalcPhi is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
